Proverb #4 : Sutten agzi yanan, yogurdu ufleyerek yer
![]() |
The one who burns his mouth for drinking milk too hot, eats even yogurt carefully |
English Meaning :
This Turkish Proverb is usualy used to show that someone who pass a bad experience , will surely take a lesson from it,in Moroccan Heritage,i found a proverb similar to this one "someone who was bitten by snake...will fear from the cord, which means that people
learn from their bad experiences.when Someone make a lot of money , will not know how to spend them , he will buy limozines , play poker , buy expensive stuffs,etc...but when he loses money, then he will regret for this money...when the regeret will not bring to him a result.
But why to wait something to happen in order to get lesson from it , i think it's a kind of stupidity :) (anyway this is just my point of view XD ) ,as you see others pass the same experience and they made the same mistakes , so why not to take lessons from others experiences instead of making the same error ,why not to bypass that error before falling in it . this is the only way to not being bitten by the snake or burned by the heat of the yogurt :) .
So , this i hope that explanation to be enough for you , see you brothers in other posts , and enjoy with your time .
